Hardware Warranty:
The VCI Hardware warranty according to these Warranty Conditions applies for a period of no longer than twenty-four (24) months from issuance of the end-User invoice by the authorized Distributor, respectively limited warranty period of maximum 6 month applies for Accessories parts as of issuance of the end-User invoice by the authorized Distributor.
To report the Warranty claim to DENSO, the User must file the Warranty claim form instructed by DENSO with the authorized Distributor from where the User purchased DENSO sense or use DENSO User support system (WhatsApp Chat Support/ Email/ Helpline number). Warranty claim must be reported correctly, as instructed by DENSO, with complete filling of all mandatory data fields.
The VCI Hardware for which warranty claim is requested by User must be returned for inspection to the authorized Distributor from where the User has purchased the product. The authorized Distributor shall provide the User with replacement VCI hardware in case the distributor upon primary inspection as per DENSO guidelines confirms the defect.
In case the authorized Distributor is not able to judge the warranty claim, the distributor shall first inform DENSO and request a claim ticket and thereafter collect the VCI device from User along with a Warranty Claim form in a format as instructed by DENSO and submit the VCI hardware to DENSO within 1 week.
Upon receiving the warranty claim VCI hardware, DENSO will investigate and thereafter approve or reject the claim based on findings and inform the decision to the respective authorized Distributor for further action.
The User acknowledges that in some cases as integral part of warranty assessment process (investigation) it may be necessary to disassemble the claimed VCI Hardware, beyond the point of its restoration, in order to duly assess User´s Warranty claim. If User´s Warranty claim is denied, User’s right for return of the relevant Product in pre-assessment condition is excluded. Thus, DENSO is not obliged to pay any potential damages caused to User during the warranty assessment or damages related thereto. If the User's Warranty claim is approved and the Warranty claim is confirmed by DENSO, the User is entitled to a replacement VCI Hardware device which the respective authorized Distributor shall provide to the User immediately after approval from DENSO.
The warranty pursuant to these Warranty conditions is in any event expressly limited to the replacement of the defective VCI Hardware with the equivalent or upgraded model VCI Hardware model.
If the User requests the return of the Product after denied Warranty claim, the User bears all costs incurred in connection with the return shipment of the Product to the User (including any tax or logistics costs) and any diagnostic costs and other related costs incurred directly by the User in connection with the Product.
If the Customer does not request the return of the Product after denied Warranty claim, DENSO will store the Product for 1 month as of the moment Customer was informed of the status of the relevant Warranty claim and then the Product will be scrapped free of charge in accordance with environmental regulations.
The Warranty claims submitted by the User to DENSO grant the Customer solely the rights pursuant to point 2 and 7 hereinabove under Hardware Warranty of the Warranty Conditions and not the right to cancel the already submitted orders or suspend any payments in any manner.
Conditions for the enforcement of the warranty and exclusions:
The warranty pursuant to Article 11 of the Warranty Conditions can be enforced solely and exclusively provided that the User checks the Product and notifies DENSO/ Authorized distributor in manner indicated by DENSO and in accordance with the required forms (in writing) or via Customer Support system (WhatsApp chat/ email/ call) without undue delay, as of discovery of the alleged defective Product.
The Products will be subjected to DENSO inspection under warranty claim only if the product was used as mentioned in the DENSO sense User manual.
The warranty pursuant these Warranty conditions does not apply to products which are differing from products usually supplied by DENSO or which have not been invoiced by authorized Distributors of DENSO or which do not bear, in a readable manner, the indications relating to trademark, or Products which have been subjected to disassembly or repair by subjects other than DENSO.
Warranty pursuant these Warranty Conditions does not apply if the Defect is the consequence of:
